Changes: Three Girl Rhumba's Sword

The Three Girl Rhumba's Sword is a weapon in the video game No More Heroes. It is a katana crafted with the power of lethal cutting force. Despite appearing to be nothing more than a normal katana (as opposed to the beam-type katanas), the Three Girl Rhumba's Sword has the supernatural power to emit sword-shaped projectiles of energy, dubbed by its user the "Sonic Sword." The scabbard of the Three Girl Rhumba's Sword is also decorated with tiny Pure White Lover Bizarre Jelly figurines. In Desperate Struggle, Shinobu gains a new sword called the jacobs ladder, which might have been her father, master jacob's, sword .

Trading cards

The Three Girl Rhumba's Sword appears on three trading cards in the Design Materials set of No More Heroes. These are No. 58, No. 60 and No. 138. Concept art for the ornaments which adorn the sword's scabbard also appear on Trading Card No. 61.

Trivia

The sword is named after the Wire song "Three Girl Rhumba".
