Speed City is a city in the video game No More Heroes. Though unconfirmed, it may be in the state of California, most likely eastward of Santa Destroy in the Mojave Desert, as Santa Destroy's bus system provides moderately quick access to the city.
Landmarks[]
There are no visibly important landmarks in Speed City, though it is notable that the city is completely abandoned, and resembles a post-apocalyptic city. Only a barricaded, one-way street is accessible during the events of No More Heroes, but a number of skyscrapers and other buildings, all seemingly eroded, are visible along the Speed City skyline.
Transportation[]
The city has no known existing transportation system, which may have to do with Speed City appearing to be almost completely abandoned. Santa Destroy's bus system, Rolling Cradle Highway Bus Stop, does provide transportation into the city via the Santa Destroy Junction, however.
Trivia[]
- The fictional video game Electric Thunder Tiger II has a setting called Electric Speed City.
- A sign for Speed City is visible from the Santa Destroy Junction overpass when Miike turns the ROSE NASTY over to Shinobu Jacobs.
