Liberation Maiden SIN is a video game for PlayStation 3 and Playstation Vita. It was released on December 5, 2013 for PS3 and on July 31, 2014 for Vita, published exclusively[1] in Japan. It was developed by 5pb. Games and written by SUDA51 of Grasshopper Manufacture.[2] The game is a sequel to Liberation Maiden, although it sheds the three-dimensional shooting gameplay in favor of a visual novel approach. As with Liberation Maiden, Yusuke Kozaki handled character design and illustrations. SUDA51's involvement with 5pb. is interesting because the company was founded by Chiyomaru Shikura, a sound designer who worked at Human Entertainment during the same time as SUDA51. Shikura and SUDA51 did not work on any of the same games together however.
Plot[]
Liberation Maiden SIN follows the exploits of Kiyoto Kaido, childhood friend of and newly-appointed chief aide to President Shoko Ozora, during the events of the Second Liberation War. Kaido has the ability to read other people's minds. Several new female characters also appear as cabinet members in the New Japan government. Both the Liberator Kamui and the Guardian Spirits also feature.[3]
