This mod for No More Heroes 2 is meant to be way more bloody, gory, and horrific in shock value. It is also meant to allow player customization, and give features that were from the original No More Heroes.

Features

  • Dark Side Modes can be set to activate different versions.
  • Dark Side Mode now has a special gauge activation gameplay that's linked with the Ecstacy Gauge.

Battle Features

  • Enemies will now have a "Bone Gauge", where it represents their body's resilience and durability. Through all attacks, the Bone Gauge will deplete, and when it reaches empty, the enemy becomes extremely injured to the point of debilitating
    • Effects onto the body as a result of beatings and attacks will differ from the front or back of the enemy.
    • When the Front Bone Gauge is attacked, this targets their groin, stomach and ribs. When it empties, enemies do weaker damage and drag their limp bodies around slowly in pain. This will also get them to be afraid a lot more easily as well.
    • When the Back Bone Gauge is attacked, this targets their nervous system and spine. When it empties, enemies are severely paralyzed on the ground. They also cannot get up for the duration of the game.
  • If an opponent is on the ground, Travis can stomp or kick them, and this can greatly remove Bone Gauge massively. This differs in that his attacks are animated more brutally and forcefully, with the sound of something popping or cracking.
    • Later in the game, enemies will sometimes have on hand Cocaine or PCP to snort up. This will get them to be somewhat more invulnerable to Stun and Stopping power attacks, and removes their Front Bone Gauge, but if their Back Bone Gauge is emptied, this will render them helpless. If they take five to three total hits of their drug of choice, they will die instantly due to overdose by large amounts (they are not recreationally using the drug). Travis will not get any money from these deaths.
  • Beat Attacks can be charged. Parrying attacks will also allow Beat Attacks to become heavy hitting counterattacks.
    • High Charged Beat Attacks turn into heavy winded punches.
    • Low Charged Beat Attacks turn into heavy hitting spin thrust kicks.
  • Deathblows are also dependent on the stance the player takes.

Enemy Deaths

  • Blueberry Cheese Brownie will now cause enemies to explode into entrails and chunks of meat.
  • Deathblow Animations differ on the stance, as they now target different points of the body.
    • High will feature cuts and slashes to the head and shoulder area. For Large Mooks, these attacks will feature Travis jumping high to get at their heads.
    • Low will feature cuts and slashes to the body and waist. For Normal Mooks, these attacks will see Travis be able to dismember the enemy at the waist.
  • Peony Deathblows - As a result of the massive force behind each blow because of the weapon's dynamics, their deathblows often feature opponents getting ripped apart along with a cleaving blow, with entrails flying everywhere.
    • High Right - Travis batters up and rends the enemy flying; sees entrails still connected to body ripped along with the body flying.
    • High Up - Travis leaps up and spin slashes the enemy's head; sees the spine connected still, and body flies along with the head
    • High Left -
    • High Down - Travis somersaults and smash slashes the opponent into the floor; sees the opponent crushed into a bloody pulp
  • "Psycho" Cranberry Chocolate Sundae has new executions depending on the weapon he has and what enemy he faces:
  • Standard Additions
    • Large mooks see Travis zooming by, having made huge gashes in their back and sacrum pelvis. As they kneel down and unable to move their bodies, Travis swings by, and brutally twists their bodies with their arms off before tossing them.
    • Fat enemies see their belly cut open and their intestines fall out, before Travis forces them onto the floor and jams the beam katana into their mouth before ripping it out of their skull.
    • Normal mooks see Travis make a quick slash to the neck, gashing it open. As they clutch at their wound in pain and fear, Travis comes behind them and proceeds to rip off their head by force.
    • Large mooks will see Travis impaling them up the rectum with a charged beam katana and holding them up in the air. As they flail, the electricity arcs generated by the beam katana cuts off multiple parts of the body before everything rains down entrails and blood.
  • Blood Berry
    • From behind a Normal Mook, Travis impales the opponent through the top of the head. As they struggle in pain and fear, Travis continues jamming it in until it reaches the heart.
  • Rose Nasty
    • Can see him come from behind to jam the smaller beam katana into the base of the neck to sever the spine internally diagonally and paralyzing them, before he proceeds to jam the longer blade in sequence and rips off the opponent's head with force. Holding it in hand by the hair, he looks at it disgusted and tosses it off.
    • Can see him come from behind and forcefully use the angled guard of the Rose Nasty's right blade to smash open the skull of enemy.
  • "Tiger" Cranberry Chocolate Sundae has new fatalities and upgrades:
    • Blood is more prominent.
    • Death animation for a laying enemy is more brutal. Travis swipes at the opponent's ribcage, before swiping at the opponent's head knocking them nearly unconscious, all while ripping their throat out.
    • Enemies crawling for their lives can be pounced on. Travis snaps the enemy's back upon pouncing on them, and proceeds to rip their head off with his mouth.
    • Enemies pissing their pants in fear can be pounced on. Travis rips off their right arm before ripping out their entrails and clawing them apart.
    • Clawing has new effects depending on how the attack lands; opponent's entrails can be ripped out with a swipe. From the back, a swipe breaks the enemy's back and leaves them paralyzed.
  • "Brutal Suplexes"

Brutal Suplexes are throws that activate when the Bone Gauge is lower with mooks. These throws are more brutal in their dynamics, often involving throws with haphazardly grievous and fatal impacts onto various vital regions. They also differ in that execution of these throws give off more money than a normal throw.

    • Tombstone Piledriver - Returns
    • Action Hero Execution Tombstone Piledriver - Used against Large Roided Mooks. A variation of the Modified Tombstone Piledriver, this is used when the mook's body meter is low. As the enemy groans in pain, Travis rushes in and punches them in the gut, and jumps to send them flying. During the start of the midair leap, Travis uses the momentum of the punch to get them upside down, and as they land, he positions them to land on top of their head at a breakneck speed to break their neck; this kills them instantly.
    • Botched Brainbuster Slam - Like the Brainbuster Slam, Travis bends himself and the opponent forward, as he positions himself under their arm and wraps his arm around their head. However, as he lifts them up and spins, Travis maneuvers his throw to ensure that the opponent lands headfirst, cracking their skull open and crushing the neck with their body weight. As they fall facefirst from the botched throw, they twitch and spasm before they die from their injuries.
    • Santa Muerte los Hurricarana - A variation of the Hurricarana where Travis clutches at their neck instead of the head with his legs. As he lands on his belly after the flip, the enemy lands on their head and lays paralyzed, before the beam katana lands in between their eyes.
    • Mt. Fuji German Suplex
    • Giant Throw Headsmasher
    • DDT Piledriver
    • Rising Dragon Hell Suplex- Based off the suplex Travis used to finish off the shithead thug ringleader in the beginning of No More Heroes 1.5. Grabbing a downed enemy, Travis clutches them by the armpits. As he gets a good grip, he then suplexes backwards with all of might. As the suplex targets the head, the opponent dies of brute force to the skull and brain.
