Charlie Macdonald (チャーリー・マクドナルド, Chaarii Makudonarudo) is a character in No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle. He is the 25th-ranked UAA assassin, a Santa Destroy College football star and also an apparent "heartthrob" according to the narrator, suggesting his luck with women. He fights with the assistance of his 24 cheerleaders. He transforms, along with the group of cheerleaders who worship him, into a giant robot called Santa Death Parade, which shares its name with the football team. Travis fights him using an actual mech styled after Glastonbury. He is killed by Travis.[1]

Charlie Macdonald wears a huge american football uniform that has the number 25 written on it in neon writing which corresponds with his rank. His uniform is mainly yellow and green. His personality is a cliche of the stereotypical footballer as he appears overconfident and is flirtatious with his many cheerleaders. His cheerleaders appear very devoted to Charlie as they fight alongside him and arrange a routine all about him.
Story
He is first encountered in Santa Destroy College's football stadium after a routine from his cheerleaders. He has a quick conversation about how honored he is to be fighting Travis Touchdown and how he loves the "Touchdown" part of his name. He then prepares for battle against Travis by pulling out a football, activating a switch and flying into space alongside his many cheerleaders, where they all transform into a huge Mecha called "Santa Death Parade." This prompts Travis to use a secret weapon he had Dr. Naomi build, which is also a giant mecha, this one based on the "Glastonbury" from Pure White Lover Bizarre Jelly. They fight inside Santa Destroy in a style similar to a giant monster fight. He is eventually defeated when Travis damages his power system, upon which Glastonbury throws Santa Death Parade into outer space and destroys it via laser rifle. Afterwards Sylvia congratulates Travis on a job well done, but was forced to confiscate the mecha, as the UAA considered it a public nuisance and it was too big.
Powers and Abilities
Charlie uses a huge mecha in the shape of a football named "Santa Death Parade" which is a powerful mecha capable of using powerful beams against Travis. He also apparently has rockets somewhere in his uniform as he uses them to fly into space to form his mech along with his cheerleaders. He also has a single special move where he throws a football shaped projectile at Travis at amazing speed, causing a fair amount of damage.
