Questions about Lollipop Chainsaw...

Hey there, I'm WhitePinoy.

I am the admin of the Lollipop Chainsaw Wikia, another product made by Suda51, along side with James Gunn. I just have a few questions about the game, since my goal is to refurnish my poorly edited Wikia, and that it had only been recent that I acutally purchased the game.

Would you say Lollipop Chainsaw is a popular game?

I have a question about ownership rights about Lollipop Chainsaw. Since Lollipop Chainsaw was made by three companies (Grasshopper Manufacture, Kadokawa Games, and Warner Bros.), I've been really curious who holds more rights to the game. It's just a minor question really, but it does make me fascinated that it resulted in this really intriguing game. I am hoping that they will make a sequel, but …

Note to all Killer7 pros.

Having reviewed the wanted pages I've noticed most of them are Killer7 related. I myself have yet to beat the game, I got stuck at this one part were I needed to get a of of blood. Anyways, I recommend any one very familiar with the game to see what pages they can make, and anyone eager to edit to pick up the game(it's like 7 USD). I have a few days of summer vacation left, and plan to beat in my free time.

The most wanted page is Hotel Flower, Sun And Rain. I'm planning to replay FSR and take some notes about the hotel, even if for a basic start. If any of you guys want to start it, feel free to!

Let's make this site awesome!!!(Please read this)

It has been a while since I've the wiki, for a while I was not as interested in Suda51, not that he and grasshopper where no longer an inspiration for me, but I was focussing on other interests. However, this morning I checked Grasshopper's site and Twitter feed. Seeing Travis's Jacket in the real life Airport photo just makes me want it more! With all the stuff going on with Grasshopper, I feel ready to edit again. Vixen Windstorm, one of our amazing contributors and an admin has had little to no internet access for a while, and I feel our asbence showed we depened on him way too much, I requested Administratorship, but he hasn't responded. Spongebathbill has also been offline for a while. So, no admins, in the meantime, we should try to …

Walking away from the top.

Lately, I've been organizing the sections for the No More Heroes characters. When looking at the personality of the characters of Death Metal and Dr. Peace, I got the feeling that both characters were sick of their violent ways. All Death Metal seems to care about when you encounter him is relaxing and watching the ocean. He views killing Travis as chore and accepts death. When looking at the purchases Dr Peace has made with his money, singing in a big stadium(something he states he always wanted) and eating dinner with his daughter, they seem to imply that he has accepted death and is going about with his last wishes. Both assassins give the impression that they want to walk away from their lifestyle. When Travis does so, he is envied by …

No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle original design docs? Quite interesting stuff here, basically two PDF files of the game's script originally in Japanese, a rough translation, and a "finalized" script. Includes some alternate lines and some things that were cut, such as overworld being a sandbox and Thunder Ryu. From reading it seems legit, would come in handy.

NMH2: Desperate Struggle and Stuff

First off, I just want to say that Suda51 Wiki surpassed my expectations as the ultimate Wiki for Grasshoper Manufacturer Games. Keep up the good work guys! I'm simply writing this blog because I know at least 1 person on the Internet will read this and enjoy/hate it and my ideas/very fiber of my being. So, let's get it started.

When I first an honest confirmation that Desperate Struggle was in the makin, I almost lost my breath. I loved the original and managed to get 100% of everything so when they told me a sequel was in the making, I honestly didn't think it would be possible. At that time I knew an honest amount about Suda 51 and his past games, but it was around that time that I got hooked. I started playing through Killer 7 and thoug…

Excuse my absence

Hey everyone, I hope you'll forgive my absence from Suda51 Wiki. I'm still completely interested in the website, but a month ago I moved out of the house and to the other side of the province, so I'm still in a transitional period, trying to set up here. I don't have the Internet installed at my place yet so I can only take my netbook to hotspots, and the connection's a bit poor so I hate to admit that I'm behind on my NMH2 updates... But fortunately there's an EB Games where I now live so picking the damn game up will be no hassle! I guess that's it, I just wanted to give all you visitors, especially those who appreciate my coverage in particular, a heads up that I am not done with this website. I hope to pursue a career in scenario writing …

Kid Jeane

The child who we see with Silvia Christel after the "real" ending of No More Heroes' credit roll, dubbed Jeane, is one of the most speculated elements of the game. Some assume she is the daughter of Silvia and Henry, but no one can be completely certain at this time. Her hazy origins made me feel as though her inclusion was simply meant to be another way for Goichi Suda's script to blow the player's mind, before curtains closed on No More Heroes for good.

I've been frequenting the GameFAQs Message Board for No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle lately, where the user Pyrodragon20 wondered about the significance of the name "Jeane," which appears three times in No More Heroes (an assassin, a cat and the child who this blog is focusing on). It is my opi…

"His name is Henry Touchdown..."

I thought mirroring a quote from Fight Club would be a fitting way to start this post, because I want to share an interpretation of No More Heroes that draws plenty of connections from the Chuck Palahniuk novel, and of course, its film adaptation. Compared to previous efforts by Grasshopper Manufacture, No More Heroes probably has the most linear and explainable plot yet. Everything else has been riddled with supernatural undertones, metaphors, and deliberate contradiction, making even the most die-hard Grasshopper enthusiasts unable to absolutely piece together the whole tale. The straight-forward, almost cinematic approach to No More Heroes is what makes it the studio's most accessible and mainstream title yet.

Still, at the time not even directo…
