The Angel is a character in killer7. She is fought as the end-of-chapter boss in the mission of the same name, Target00: Angel. She resembles an anime character, and has two pairs of fragile, glassy wings.

The Angel is encountered by Harman Smith at the top of the "Celtic" Building, where she resides in a large circular room on the 5th floor. She is glad that four of her children - i.e. the Heaven Smiles - have fulfilled their purpose (namely that of killing or transforming a human being, in this case the Red Gunners), but criticises Harman and the Smiths for killing the other 9 Smiles. In return Harman uses his rifle to shoot off all four of her wings; after this is done she falls to the floor, but gets up again whilst Kun Lan's voice rings in the air, mocking the Smiths for thinking that they have killed him. The Angel's eyes become red and bloody, with tears of blood streaming down her face, and four red fleshy face-like growths appear on her back where her wings previously sprouted from.

The Smiths must run around the outside of the room, dodging her flaming projectiles which she launches from her right palm, and shoot all four of the faces. Once this is done she screams and explodes in a shower of white feather-like particles. In the next room, however, she is seen to be perfectly fine. Shooting her will achieve nothing, except cause her to make fun of Harman - instead, Harman must shoot the image of Kun Lan that randomly appears and disappears behind her. Doing so will cause the Angel to explode once more, accompanied by Kun Lan's maniacal laughter.

It is not explicitly stated whether the Angel is a separate creature from Kun Lan, or merely one of his disguises; he remarks to Harman that the Smiths were not fooled by his 'trick', and the fact that he speaks mid-way through the battle would seem to reinforce the idea that the Angel is just a form he takes. However, nothing conclusive is ever stated. It is suggested that she is somehow responsible for the creation of the Smiles, implying a link with Kun Lan's God Hand. The meaning behind the four 'faces' on her back, and whether or not they are meant to represent the four dead Red Gunners, is similarly left unexplained; hand in killer7 merely states that they are representations of 'God's face', and notes that 'God's sense of humour is terrifying.'

It is not known if she has any connection to a similarly-named character, the Archangel, who appears in Target03: Encounter, although they both have drastically different appearances, suggesting they are completely unrelated.
